Grant Martin BPharm
Grant Martin was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the AACP in September 2009. His primary goals as CEO have been to continue to develop and refine the AACP’s MMR accreditation and reaccreditation programs along with the development and implementation of a modern usable IT platform for Associates.
After graduating from the University of Sydney, Grant worked as a community Pharmacist-in-Charge/Manager for 20 years in Canberra and still keeps abreast of current practice through regular locum work. In the 5 years prior to taking up the AACP appointment he was Director of Professional Services for the PSA in Canberra with a management role in Pharmacy Self Care, Professional Development and APF 21 and 22. He is currently a member of the PSA ACT Branch and had a role in the reactivation of the local CPD program for pharmacists.
Operations Team (Accreditation & Reaccreditation Programs)
Manager, Process & Policy
Regina has managed the AACP Executive Secretariat (Board and National Advisory Committee) since 2002, and is responsible for policy and procedures development. She is also responsible for the management of the stage two accreditation assessment process and deals directly with candidates and the assessment team.
Reaccreditation Manager and Corporate Events Coordinator
Nadia’s primary role is to manage the AACP Accredited Pharmacists annual reaccreditation process, including the management of the three yearly Clinical Multiple Choice assessment.
Nadia has been with the AACP for more than 13 years’ in various areas within the association and recently has become the Event management coordinator and now successfully manages the AACPs annual ConPharm Clinical Seminar.
Manager Clinical Services – Clinical Consultant Pharmacist
Sarah Gillespie BPharm MPS AACPA
Sarah graduated from the South Australian Institute of Technology. During her career she has worked in community and hospital pharmacy, in Australia and in the United Kingdom. She became accredited with the AACP in 2003 and has conducted HMRs both in SA and in the ACT. She has worked for the AACP since 2008.
Much of her work involves supporting pharmacists as they proceed through the accreditation process and indeed this continues once accreditation is achieved. She also co-ordinates several specialised CPD events designed to improve the knowledge and skills of accredited pharmacists and liaises with relevant stakeholders to promote the role of accredited pharmacists.
Project Pharmacist – IT
Keith MacAulay BPharm
Keith is the AACPs Project Pharmacist and he manages the AACP assessment website. He is based in regional Western Australia and is available for AACP IT website support 7 days a week.
With over 30 years in pharmacy practice Keith has been involved in several national pharmacy organisations as an employee and advocate. Keith was national manager of the Pharmaceutical Care Program for PSA many years ago. As well as a community pharmacy owner in Western Australia, Keith has worked overseas in community pharmacy and hospitals in England.
Finance & Accounts Unit
Louise Irvine BComm(Acc)
Louise has been a member of the Finance & Accounts Unit since joining AACP in 2010. In 2015, she took over as Financial Controller. Louise is responsible for the maintenance of the accounting system, databases and the IT systems. This includes the preparation of management and board reports.
Louise has qualifications and experience in accounting, bookkeeping, desktop publishing, website development and pharmacy management.
